Negeek Lake Cottage - Activities

Negeek Lake Cottage features 160 feet of shoreline with a sand beach and a cool yellow swim raft with a ladder anchored 50-60 feet off shore, in 5½ feet of water. Bottom
is clean, but wear water shoes because of clam shells.
The cottage is equipped with a kayak, swim raft, mountain bikes and a new paddle boat for you to enjoy.
Moor your boat to the 32-foot dock or use our new 14-foot aluminum boat with 9.9 hp motor (available at extra charge).
Negeek Lake is part of the Madawaska River system, which provides 60 km of navigable waterways complete with a variety of beaches, fishing holes, and places to explore. Conroy Marsh, an exciting spot for bird-watchers, is alive with Small Mouth Bass and Pickerel ( Walleye) and is just 5 minutes away.
Whitewater enthusiasts should be sure to visit 'world famous' MKC Canoe Camp, on the Mighty Madawaska,
15 kms from Negeek Lake Cottage, and Paddlers Coop,
10 kms away, also on the Madawaska near Palmer Rapids. Both facilities feature some of the best white water in Ontario. MKC has a great Coffee Bar!
In winter, expore the E109 snowmobile trail - just minutes away.
Opportunities abound to enjoy the Outdoors in Winter! Xcountry skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, major snowmobiling, hiking and ice-fishing. Down hill skiing is avaible at Calabogie (100 kms)
